Mangalore : Shree Kavoor  Mahalingeshwara Temple  Mangalore  Devasthana celebrated its  ANNUAL "CAR FESTIVAL and  UTHSAVa" of God Mahlingeshwara performed from  Jan  14th Wednesday 2015 to Sunday 18th Jan 2015 thousands of devotees received  Theerthaprasada & Blessings.

From Tuesday to Sunday various  Various Religious pooja programs held like  Devata Prarthane, Torana Prathishte, vasthurakshogna home Navakakalasha , Dhwajarohan ,  Mahapooja, sathyanarayana pooje 7.30 pm onward -  Utsava Bali, Maha Ranga Pooja, Nitya Bali on Thursday a religious meeting held this  occasion (Dharmika Sabha Karyakrama)  Sri Vidyaprasanna Tirtha swamiji of Narasimha Subramanya Mutt,  delivered  a religious message at the function in the evening. 

Sri Vidyaprasanna Tirtha swamiji  said Why Are Temples Needed? why we have to visit temple regularly and clearly explained the impotence of temples and impotence of visiting temples ,he said it is a must to pay a visit twice every day to the  Temples in their locations , Thus a person who regularly visiting a temple and taking clockwise rounds of the Main Idol’s placement, automatically receive the beamed magnetic values absorbed in his body.

This is very slow and a regular visit will make him absorb more energy. What scientifically it is known is positive energy ,Bring an offering: such as fruits and flowers like coconut and banana  on arrival, it is traditional to circumambulate the temple where possible. Inside, greet the Deities at their shrines, hands pressed together in namaskara, starting with Lord Ganesha. You may prostrate and present your offerings and all day evening cultural program held till 11 pm
