Udupi, April 22: The country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has spread the flames of hatred against the Muslim race, which has a population of 20 crores in India. It is dangerous for a Prime Minister who is supposed to maintain the peace and tranquility of the country to spread racial hatred. Former Chief Minister M. Veerappa Moily expressed outrage that such a statement can only be made in a dictatorship regime.
Addressing a press conference at Udupi Congress Bhavan today, he said that those individuals and the entire country will be destroyed by racial hatred. This move of Narendra Modi is not good for the country. In 2014 Dr. Manmohan Singh accused the government and in 2019 he came to power in the name of surgical strike inciting patriotic feelings. But no such gimmick will happen in this election. He accused Modi of giving statements out of desperation.
People of the country are feeling hopeless about democracy. As a result, four lakh people boycotted the elections in Nagaland. In the hearts of the people there is a kind of indifference. Moily said that this will erupt like a volcano in this election.
Narendra Modi took 60 days to conduct Lok Sabha elections this time, now one country needs only one year to conduct one election. With all these confusions, this idea is not so easy to implement. Veerappa Moily opined that constitutional amendment and adequate governance reforms are needed for that.
Today the voice of democracy is fading. This country needs a good ruler who works efficiently and not a commentator Modi is now leaving NDA and BJP claiming ’Modi Guarantee’. But people have already woken up about this. Moily said that BJP will not get more than 150 seats and not 400.
Shimoga Lok Sabha candidate Geeta Shivraj Kumar, actor Shivraj Kumar, leaders Vinaya Kumar Sorake, Gopal Pujari, Ashok Kumar Kodavuru, M.A. Gafoor, Kishan Hegde Kolkebailu, Udaya Kumar Shetty Munialu, Prasadraj Kanchan, DR Raju, Bhaska Rao Kidiyur, Naveen Shetty and others were present.
