Print Udupi : Four accused in connection with the Sharath Shetty(39) murder case at Pangala near Kaup have been arrested, said Hakay Akshay Machindra, Udupi district Superintendent of Police.
Addressing a press meet held at SP office here on Tuesday, February 14, in connection with the Sharath Shetty murder case held on February 5 at Pangala near Kaup, Udupi Police formed four teams to crack the murder case. Police succeeded to arrest Divesh Shetty(20) of Kulai near Surathkal, Liketh Kulal(21) from Kulai, Surathkal, Akash Karkera(24) and Prasannha Shetty(40). Among accused arrested Divesh Shetty and Likith Kulal handed over police custody for a week while Akash and Prasannha Shetty will be present before the court tomorrow, SP said.
The absconding accused Yogish Acharya of Katpady, Nagaraj, underworld don Kali Yogish and Mukesh who supported for the murder along with other accused will be arrested soon. SP said the main reason for killing is yet to be known and all are involved in the murder case also are being made after interrogation by the police which investigation is going on.
