Udupi : The anti-constitutional and anti-women Congress government is running misrule in Karnataka. Anti-women attitudes are seen whenever the Congress government comes. BJP District Spokesperson Gitanjali M.Suvarna said that the people will teach the anti-women Congress a lesson in the next Lok Sabha elections.

She was addressing a press conference held at the BJP district office today. She said that Congress party minister Priyank Kharge had earlier said that women should climb the couch to get government jobs. By this he insulted the entire women community. Now the state Congress government has started the work of removing thali and anklets from women. She said that women will give a befitting reply to such an insult by rejecting the Congress party in the future.

According to Hinduism, bangles and anklets are the most sacred items for women. They are usually only removed when women become widowed and need a full body scan. The state Congress government has insulted all the women of the country by making them remove their bangles and anklets while writing the exam. She said that the anti-women attitude of the Congress has been exposed once again.

The Congress government, appeasing minorities, is allowing hijab in exams. The thali and anklets of the Hindu women who come for the examination are removed. This government does not value Hindutva and Hindu culture. She said that the audacity of removing the mangalya of Hindu women shows how low the mood of this government has sunk.

The incident of rape, stripping and beating a woman in Vantamuri village is condemnable. He said that many such cases have taken place during the Congress administration and the law and order system has completely deteriorated without protection for women in the state. Recent statements by Congress leaders highlight anti-women attitudes.

She said that the statements of Shamanur Sivashankarappa and Supriya Sreenathe express the anti-women mentality of the Congress party.

Shamanur Sivashankarappa has said that ’women only deserve to be in the kitchen’. This is very regrettable and condemnable. Shamanur’s party’s ’woman was the prime minister of this nation. Now Priyanka Vadra and Sonia Gandhi are working in that party. In such a case, speaking disrespectfully about another party’s candidate is reprehensible, she said.

Our esteemed Prime Minister Narendra Modi has implemented many schemes in the last 10 years to empower women economically and socially. She said that Modi is working hard for the advancement of women by implementing hundreds of schemes like Jan Dhan, Swachh Bharat and others for the benefit of women.

For political empowerment, the ’Nari Shakti Vandan’ Act has been implemented and 33% reservation has been provided for women. Congress I.T. Cell’s Supriya Sreenathe posted on Facebook and Instagram about another candidate of our party, Kangana Ranaut, in a very low-level language. She said that when there was opposition across the country, she tried to escape by saying that she did not do it, Geethanjali Suvarna said.

All these incidents are like a mirror held up to Congress’ ugly attitude towards women. Gitanjali Suwarna said that the people of the state are paying close attention to the anti-women policies of the Congress and will teach the Congress a lesson in the next elections.
