Bajrang Dal leader dies in mishap, family alleges murder
Bajrang Dal district co-convenor Sunil (28) died in a road mishap near Rudranahalli Gate on Arsikere-Mysuru Road on Wednesday night.
According to sources, Sunil was returning from Guthinakere jathre on his motorbike, when he lost balance and met with an accident around 11.45 pm. He bled to death due to serious head injuries.
However, Sunil’s father Ranganath has lodged a complaint with the rural police, suspecting foul play in the incident. He has alleged that Sunil’s death was not due to accident, but, was a murder.
As Sunil’s parents demanded, a post-mortem was conducted at the Hassan district hospital. The police also permitted the RSS workers to keep the body for public viewing at their office.
