Mumbai, Jun 23: The city’s Billavara Association led Bharath Cooperative Bank Limited held their 40th annual general body meeting at Brijvasi Palace auditorium, Goregaon east on Saturday evening, June 18. Billavara association president Nithyananda D Kotian lit the traditional lamp and set the meeting in motion. The bank’s executive president Jaya C Suvarna presided over the meeting.

Jaya C Suvarna spoke of the financial progress and various facilities provided by the bank declaring the dividend of 15% to the shareholders. Billava Jagruthi Balaga vice president Purushotham S Kotian, Billava chamber of commerce and industry president N T Poojary, director Mahendra Sooru Karkera, Harish G Ameen, Lonavla corporation mayor Surekha Jadav, corporator Sridhar S Poojary, Thia Samaja Mumbai president Chandrashekar R Belchada, Okkaligara Seva Sangha Mumbai president Rangappa C Gowda, hundreds of shareholders, customers and well wishers were present.

The bank’s vice president advocate Rohini J Salian, directors K N Suvarna, U S Poojary, advocate Somanatha B Ameen, Pushpalatha N Salian, Vasudeva R Kotian, M B Kukyan, J A Kotian, Bhaskar M Salian, Chandrashekar S Poojary, Rohith M Suvarna, Harischandra G Mulki, Damodar C Kunder, R D Poojary, K B Poojary, Gangadhar J Poojary, Suryakanth J Suvarna, Ashok M Kotian, Jyothi K Suvarna, C T Salian, Anbalagan C Harijan were on the dais.

The bank’s GM Nithyananda D Kotian, DGM Mohandas Hejmady, Vidyananda Karkera, Vivek N Shanbhag, Raghu Poojary, Suresh S Salian, Prabhakar G Suvarna, Vishwanath G Suvarna, Dinesh B Salian, retired GM Shobha Dayanand, other senior officials and heads of various branches were present.

Bank officer Yashodhar D Poojary said the prayer. CGM Anil Kumar R Ameen proposed the vote of thanks. The programme concluded with the national anthem.
