Kallianpur: Milagres B ward members visit home for the aged at Goretti hospital.

Kallianpur, Feb 22, 2016: As part of the community service and religious exercise during the Holy month of Lent, the Milagres B ward members of Milagres Cathedral, Kallianpur, Udupi Diocese organised a visit to the Goretti hospital on Sunday the 14th Feb, 2016 at 4.00 pm to interact with the aged and bedridden people at their home for the aged. Large number of ward members under the leadership of its ward head Mr. Stany Fernandes took part in this community service.

Ward members interacted with all the inmates at the hospital and gifted them with soaps, powder, towels and biscuits. Some of the inmates who are bedridden for the last few years thrilled to see some of their known faces and were seen requesting them to visit again.

It was really a memorable evening said the ward members after the visit. Ward head  thanked all the ward members for their time and contributions towards this noble cause.
