Udupi : Padma Vibushan Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Guruji, spiritual leader and founder of Art of Living Foundation and International Association for Human Values visited Sri Krishna Mutt on Saturday, 30^th January, 2016.

There was brief felicitation programme held at Rajangana with the presence of Paryaya Sri Sri Vishwateertha Swamiji and Sri Sri Vishwa Prasannhatheertha Swamiji of Pejawar Math. Prior to the felicitation programme Sri Ravi Shankar Guruji visited the Sri Krishna Math and graced the blessings from Lord Krishna.

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Guruji felicitated Sri Vishwatheertha Swamiji and Sri Vishwa Prasannhatheertha Swamiji with shawl, fruits and garland. Meanwhile Pejawar Swamiji felicitated to Sri Ravi Shankar Guruji with shawl, garland, fresh fruits and memento.

In his address Ravi Shankar Guruji appreciated the work of Pejawar Swamiji that he ascended the Paryaya for the fifth time in the history of Sri Krishna Asta Math. Pejawar Swamiji once visited Bangalore to his Ashram in 21^st November, 1981 and inaugurated the Veda School which has running with success that may be the blessings from the Swamiji. Pejawar Swamiji  given instruction to Hindu religious leaders. Ravi Shankar Guruji said Pejawar Swamiji gave largest contribution to the protection and safety of the Hinduism.

After felicitating Ravi Shankar Guruji Pejawar Senior Swamiji said that it is his privilege to say that he is very happy to see the guruji’s greatest achievements in the world.  He gave the spiritual message to the world with success. There should need of Science, meantime we need spirituality also in the life. He is also the guru of Christians and Muslims. He won the heart of all religious people. He also tried to the peace of the world.

Ravi Shankar teaches that spirituality is that which enhances human values such as love, enthusiasm and compassion. It is not limited to any one religion or culture. Hence it is open to all the people. He feels the spiritual bond we share as part of the human family is more prominent than nationality, gender, religion, profession or other identities that separate us.

He visited most of the countries on the ground of peace and humanitarian work. He won several awards for his superb work and movements.
