Print Udupi: New Year mass with an adoration celebrated at St. John’s Church Pangala, Shankerpura near here. Being the last of the year 2015, a special adoration to the Holy Sacrament was held thanking God for all the blessings He has bestowed on the faithful through-out the year. The Benediction to the Holy Sacrament was conducted by Deacon Joswin. The service began at 6pm on 31st Dec 2015 followed by Holy Eucharistic Mass at 7pm which was attended by large number of faithful.
The main celebrant of the Holy Eucharistic Mass was Rev. Fr. Leslie D’Souza (Parish Priest of Pangla Parish). Rev. Fr. Vincent Coello delivered a very meaningful homily wherein he stressed on to start a new life with God’s blessings and live in light of God. He also advised to take Mother Mary as our role model as she did and served God with all her will and humility. We too should be able to follow her in our daily routine such as practicing love, humbleness and Will of God in our every task and deed.
Fr. Leslie thanked each and every one and conveyed his greetings on the occasion and stressed on rejuvenate our life with true love and friendliness to each other, love our neighbors and live a life of dignity, spiritual and offer ourselves to the will of God.
After the mass all people greeted each other New Year Wishes.
