Udupi : It would be responsibility of the parents to provide awareness on education for their children, said retired Professor Udyavara Madhava Acharya,  Alumni of Milagres Institutions, scholar, Educationalist, Rajyotsava Award Winner, poet, great writer etc.,

He was speaking on occasion of Annual School Day celebration of Milagres English Medium Higher Primary School, Kallianpur on Wednesday, 2^nd December, 2015. He also said that it has the destiny of the students and the parents that one of the great institution like Milagres molding the career of the children. He had the opportunity to study in Milagres several decades ago which Fr. Tellis was looking after the institution of great Milagres. Today,  Milagres pursuit of excellence by scaling new heights. We should always strive to do better and expand Milagrean capacity in pursuit of excellence. Milagres promote education among various sections of the society since century.

Very Rev Fr. Stany B. Lobo Correspondent of Milagres Institutons was presided and blessed the occasion. Rev Fr. Mahesh D’Souza Principal of Milagres English Schools, Lilly Lewis and Olimphia D’Souza PTA Presidents, Sudhir Lewis vice President of PTA, Veera D’Silva Headmistress and Ananya Shetty School People Leader were present on the dais.

The programme started with beautiful prayer dance by the students. Fr. Mahesh D’Souza welcomed the gatherings and placed the report for the academic year. Prizes were distributed to distinguished students and also for the achievers’ of sports. Carol Lobo National Table Tennis player was felicitated by the Rev Fr. Stany Lobo and other guests on the dais.

Veera D’Silva delivered vote of thanks. Annual Day celebration’s is one of the significant events in Milagres English Schools since its existence around three decades. Various Scintillating dances were displayed by the primary students. Overall the events of annual day celebration filled with fun and very educative which infused anew confidence in the students, teachers and jam packed parents alike in the Milagres Tri-centenary Hall, Kallianpur.
