Mumbai, November 28, 2015: The British Council’s International School Award (ISA) ceremony was held on 19th November 2015 at Hotel Sahara Star, Mumbai. Amongst the august gathering of Principals, teachers and mentors from numerous schools across the country and eminent dignitaries like Ann Burgess, Educational Consultant, UK and Rittika Chanda Parruck, Assistant Director Schools at British Council, Ryan International School, Shahjahanpur was awarded the prestigious ISA certificate and trophy for its contribution in incorporating an international dimension to the day to day school curriculum. It was a proud moment for the Ryan International Group of Institutions as one more school was added to the list of recipients of this prestigious ISA award. Ms. Sonal Pinto, Director, Ryan Group received the Award from An Burgess, Educational Consultant, UK. The credit goes to Chairman, Dr. A. F. Pinto and MD, Madam Grace Pinto who have developed a well knit team of academicians, professionals and mentors who are relentlessly working to introduce path breaking concepts in school education.
The International School Award supports the school in embedding international learning into the curriculum. It provides a new perspective on the world, and the skills to work in a global economy. NATIONAL FOOTBALL CHAMPIONS - Ryan International School, SANPADA
Yet again, the U/19 girls’ football team made their school Ryan International School, Sanpada proud when they won the CBSE National Championship at Chandigarh for the second consecutive year. The matches were played between 19/11/15 to 24/11/15 at St. Soldiers School, Chandigarh. The U/19 girls’ team was jubilant lot after the stupendous success and smashing victory. They stormed their way into the finals after winning all the pool matches. The girls played with Shantiniketan School, Haryana, Modern High School, Noida, Dream World School, Bellary, Vasant Valley School, Noida before playing the final match with PS Senior Secondary School, Chennai.
The winners were felicitated for their excellent performance by the school. Madam Grace Pinto, MD, Ryan International Group, personally congratulated the girls and awarded the winners with floral bouquets, certificates, and branded designer watches. The felicitation boosted their morale manifold. There was joy and exhilaration at Ryan Sanpada was stupendous as the staff and students celebrated the victory of the team.
The best player of the tournament was Ms Sejal Nakhwa and the best goalkeeper award was given to Ms Vaishali Eache. Bhagyashree Dalvi became the highest scorer with 8 goals in the tournament. The coaches- Mr. Sajid, Mr. Rajput and Mrs. Saraswati undeniably had a mammoth hand in the victory.
