Udupi : Bharatiya Janatha Party will be fielding sitting Member of Legislative Council Kota Srinivas Poojary second time in the forthcoming MLC election which to be scheduled on 27^th December, 2015, said Tingale Vikramarjun Hegde, President of Udupi District Bharatiya Janatha Party.

He was talking with media persons at BJP office at Udupi on Thursday, 26^th November, saod that the party fielding sitting member had done marvelous developmental works. BJP has requesting to elect Kota Srinivas Poojary unanimously once again. The party preparing for the coming election for the local bodies which formed 116 ward committees. 1078 booths committees are replaced into standing committees. Before November 30^th the training programmes and residential programmes will be held.  

The three days training programmes would be started from 27^th November will be attended by state top leaders including President Prahalad Joshi, National President, former chief minister and leading state BJP leaders are expected.

Kota Srinivas Poojary also spoke during the press meet and said Government has accepted 67 amendments out of 88. During the occasion a booklet on programmes held during the NDA rule at the centre released by Kota Srinivas Poojary with the intention to reach the public on various developments undertaken by the NDA.

Mattaru Rathnakar Shetty District spokesman, Kuthyar Naveen Shetty District Secretary, Geethanjali Suvarna ZP member and others were present during the press meet at BJP office, Kunjibettu, Udupi.
