Doha, Novenmber 25: Karnataka Sangha Qatar Felicitates Kannada Poet, Writer, Social Thinker, Dr.H.S Venkatesh Murthy on its annual Mega Event ‘Rajyotsava’ celebration at DPS-School auditorium Doha.

Karnataka Sangha Qatar known for its Quality program in Qatar once again it’s proved with 60th Karnataka Rajyotsava Celebration at DPS School on Friday evening with bunch of entertainments from Karnataka Based associations Tulukoota Qatar, Mangalore Cricket club, Billava Sangha and Bunts Qatar along with renowned artist ballet ‘Prabhath Kalavidaru’ from Bangalore.

Kannada Poet Dr.H.S.Venkatesh Murthy, Kannada Veteran actor Avinash and TV anchor cum actress Malavika Avinash, ICBF- Qatar president Arvind Patil were guest of honour of the function. Suneel Tapliyar, Second secretary of Indian Embassy was chief guest of the evening.  Program starts at 4PM by lighting of lamp by guests and KSQ Committee members.  Vice president Venkat Rao described the emergency precautions at auditorium. The program began with welcome song “Vishwa Vinuthana” composed by Ashwin Kumar.

After that stage was open for associations where MCC presents glowing Dance for Kannada song ‘Everybody Rock to the beat’, where Bunts Qatar artists performed skit based on theme ‘Save Girl Child’, meanwhile Billava Qatar artist blown away the heart of audience by presenting Train’s Passenger based skit with presents of various Karnataka folks dances like Veera gase, Gowda Dance and Huli vesha.
Tulukoota Qatar artist performed well meaningful theme based ballet which highlights ‘Karnataka Ekikarana’ and the act was dedicated to legends who contribute their life behind Unification of Karnataka. Especially the artist cast by part of Aluru Venkat Rao, Kayyara Kiyyanna Rai, Jawaharlal Nehru, Gundu Rao was attraction of the evening. Audience offered standing ovation and thunderclaps after every spectacular program.

A small stage program has been held, KSQ president HK Madhu, Vice president Venkata Rao, General Secretary Sandesh Anand escorts the chief guest Suneel Thapliyal, Guest of honour Dr.HS Venkatesh Murthy, Avinash and Malavika Avinash to the stage. Advisory board chairman Deepak shetty escorts the ICBF president Aravind Patil, Bahrain Karnataka Sangha president Rajesh Shetty to the Dias. Cultural Secretary Sunil Kamalaksha escorts Gold sponsor of the event Satish from QDC, Event sponsor Rammana Hegde from Intermodal Qatar and Diamond sponsor Veeresh Mannangi from Almuftah to the Dias.

Speaking on the occasion Chief Guest Suneel Thapliyal read out message from Indian Ambassador HE Sanjeev Arora and wished all Kannadigas on 60th Rajyotsava celebration.  Aravind Patil called off to all Kannadigas for speak Kannada and teach Kannada to their children at home.

Padma sasanoor introduced Guests Avinash and Malavika to the audience. Avinash and Malavika Avinash spoke about their past worst experiences on Rajyotsava Celebrations behind India and expressed their gratitude towards KSQ for creating such a wonderful evening with spectacular programs one behind another.

Laxmi Madhu put Introduction note about Dr.H.S. Venkatesh Murthy in front of the gathering. Dr.H.S. Venkatesh Murthy showed his gratitude towards artist who played mesmerising acts describing Karnataka rich culture and tradition. He also thanked KSQ for their felicitation honour.
HK Madhu address the welcome key note, Sandesh Anand proposed Vote of thanks. Meanwhile guest unveiled KSQ annual souvenir ‘Sri Gandha’. Continuing KSQ Environmental Awareness Campaign Manjunath Rao conducts Oath Taking Ceremony to the gatherings.

KSQ artists performed act based on song ‘Amma naa Devaranne Benne Kaddilla’ written by Dr.H.S.Venkatesh Murthy. Which was blown away thunderclaps.

There after stage was open for most awaiting program ‘Karunada Vaibhava’ ballet performance by     ‘Prabhath Kalavidaru’.  Prabhath Kalavidaru artists performed act show casing rich heritage of Karnataka places like Halebidu, Shravana Belagola, Hampi, Mysore and Bangalore. The ballet performed by artists captured the heart of every audience. The 3D picture behind screen had given live experiences. The themes Krishna Deva Raya, Hoysala, Bahu Bali, Rani Chennamma, Dharani Mandala made full packed auditorium to give standing ovation and shower clamps rain.

Sizzling Kannada anchors Roopa Pramod and Kishor compere the program. Alma Aluminum and QDC Qatar was Golden sponsor of the event. Where Intermodal Qatar was event sponsor and Almuftah Qatar was Diamond sponsor of the event.  KSQ president HK Madhu showed his heartfelt thanks to all the sponsors.
