Abu Dhabi: KCO to host throwball tourney on Jan 29

Print Konkani Cultural Organization (KCO), Abu Dhabi will be organizing ’KCO Throw ball Tournament 2016’ on Friday, 29th January 2016 at Abu Dhabi Indian School Ground.
Sports lovers will get one more chance to exhibit their talent in the tournament.
The tournament will be conducted in the following categories:
a) Ladies’ Throw ball Tournament
b) Men’s Throw ball Tournament
KCO President Leo Rodrigues along with KCO members has extended a warm invitation to all the sports enthusiastic to participate or witness this event and support their favorite teams.
The tournament will commence in the morning at 8.00 am and is open for teams/members residing in the UAE. Teams will be segregated into groups and matches will be played on a league basis.
The pools will be drawn on the spot in the presence of the team captains. Rules of the tournament will be available on request and the players will also be briefed about the rules prior to the tournament.
Trophies will be awarded to the winners and runner up teams. Prizes will be awarded to best player and best smasher of the tournament in each category.
Free lunch will be served to all the participating teams.
Teams who are interested may register for the tourney by sending their entries to kcoabudhabi@gmail.com before January 5, 2016.
