Udupi : All India Konkani Writer’s Association (Akil Bharatiya Konkani Lekakancho Ekthar ®), Konkani Sanghaton, Udupi district and Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh ® organized Konkani Dialogue and Interaction with Konkani Writers held at Milagres College Audio Visual Hall, Kallianpur on Sunday, 22^nd November, 2015.

The dialogue and interaction programme inaugurated by Very Rev. Fr. Stany B. Lobo Rector of Milagres Cathedral and Correspondent of Milagres Educational Institutions. He said during in his inaugural speech that media is the powerful tool to establish powerful society. He conveyed his wishes for successful programme on Konkani literature.

Rev Fr. Chetan Lobo Capuchin, Editor of Uzwad, the chief guest during in his address said that the storage of experience remains inside rather not expressing and take advantage from experience through writing articles and so on. The knowledge of experience in life should shared with other persons in the society. Everything we have including time to read and write rather it should advantageous to others. So, for the youngsters the writings should be fashion. We have to enlighten the youths for the writings of various articles.

Earlier Dr. Edward Nazareth President of Association of Writers welcomed the gatherings. Prof Vincent Alva introduced the Dr. Edward Nazareth, great scholar, writer. Dr. Edward Nazareth placed and explained fundamental things to remember while writing short stories and articles. Dolphy Lobo great drama producer, Editor and writer organized the dialogue with great award winning writer Cathrine Roadrigues of Katpady.

Dr Gerald Pinto, popularly known as jeriniddodi and also President of Udupi District Konkani Sanghaton explained regarding the writings of reports and short articles.

Dr. Nery Cornelio Principal of Milagres College, Kallianpur, Cathrine Rodrigues, Dolphy Lobo, Valerian Fernandes of Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh, Alice Rodrigues Secretary of Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh and others were present on the dais.

Louis Almeida Secretary of Udupi District Konkani Sanghaton delivered vote of thanks while Godfrey D’Souza of Udyavara compered the programme.
