Huge Turnout Marks ‘Free Health Camp’ Organized by Thumbay Hospital & Beary’s Cultural Forum
 
Dubai, Nov 2015: Large numbers of people attended the free health camp organized in Dubai by Thumbay Hospital in association with Bearys Cultural Forum (BCF), on Friday, 13 November 2015, from 2:30 pm to 9:00 pm. The camp, held at Thumbay Hospital next to Stadium Metro Station in Al Qusais provided free consultation and checkup with the consultants and specialists of the hospital in various specialties such as Cardiology, Internal Medicine, General Medicine, General Surgery, ENT, Urology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Endocrinology, Orthopedics, Dermatology, Dental, Ophthalmology, Pulmonology and Psychiatry.
 
The free medical camp started 2:30 pm, in the presence of Mr. Akbar Moideen Thumbay, Vice President of the Healthcare Division of Thumbay Group, Dr. B. K. Yusuf, President of BCF and Abdul Latif Mulky, Chairman of BCF Health Camp Committee. Members of the administrative team of Thumbay Group and BCF office-bearers also attended the function. Mumtaz Ali, the Patron of BCF and Janab Zaini from Mangalore were also present as  special guests of honor.

  In addition to free consultations and checkups, the camp also offered special discounts on total knee replacement package, maternity package, normal  delivery package, LSCB package, antenatal package, mammography test, etc. Free blood pressure, blood sugar and BMI checkups and ECG tests were given to patients who were advised by the doctors. Moreover, people who registered for the ‘Privilege Card’ at the camp will be eligible for a 20% discount at all the clinics of Thumbay Group, for a one-year-period. Privilege Card holders will also be entitled to a special discount on Umrah vaccination, during the next one year.  Special child vaccination package will also be available to the privileged card member at the clinics of Thumbay Group in the UAE.
 
Dr. Kaup Mohamed welcomed all the guests and audience.  Akbar Moideen and Mumtaz Ali delivered inaugural address.  The felicitation function was presided over by Dr. B.K. Yusuf. Dr. Sameer Kumar provided a briefing of the Thumbay Group in UAE and M.E. Moolur gave a briefing of the BCF.

Akbar Moideen Thumbay said that Thumbay Group regularly conducted many similar health camps, as part of its corporate social responsibility. He added that these kinds of camps were conducted with the aim of helping the public gain easy access to superior healthcare. “We are pleased that our health camps regularly benefit a lot of people across the UAE,” he said. He also thanked BCF for partnering with Thumbay Hospital, in the noble endeavor.

Akbar Moideen Thumbay and Dr. B. K. Yusuf were felicitated at a special function held on the sidelines of the free health camp, for their valuable contributions and constant support to the charitable cause of creating health awareness. Thumbay Group’s commitment to providing affordable healthcare to all sections of the society was particularly acknowledged and lauded at the felicitation ceremony. BCF thanked Akbar and all the staff members of Thumbay Hospital Dubai, who worked to make the event a grand success. The free health camp also won the appreciation and admiration of the visitors.
 
Dr. Yusuf stated that Thumbay Hospital Dubai has a given a gift to all of your in the form of Free Health Camp in association with the Beary Cultural Forum (BCF), UAE and India.  Such type of free medical camp is required for the people in understanding and analyzing their current health conditions and also reaching the needy people of the country to maintain their health.  Dr. Yusuf also said that this type of medical camps would not have been possible unless and until it was supported by Dr. Thumbay Moideen the President of the Thumbay Group and our Founder Patron of BCF.

Abdul Lathif Mulky, the Chairman of the Health camp stated that “for the things we have to learn before we can do them, we learn by doing them”.  It is a facet of life that health is everything for us and therefore, it has to be taken care and protected to the fullest extent.

Mumtaz Ali, the Patron of BCF congratulated BCF and Thumbay Hospital Dubai for conducting this health camp for the people of India and UAE.
 
Bearys Cultural Forum particularly thanked the management of the Thumbay Group, the team members of Thumbay hospital Dubai including Dr. Sameer Kumar, Dr. Bangera and Dharmpal and all the consultants, physicians, doctors, nurses, staff members and each and every member of the Thumbay Hospital Dubai for their incessant support given for the successful functioning of the Health camp.  Thumbay Group and Bearys Cultural Forum (BCF) also thanked all the Associations of the UAE and India for attending this medical camp. 

Thumbay group and BCF thanked various media organizations and presented token of appreciation. Similarly, Bearys cultural forum also thanked the Chairman of the Health Camp Abdul Lathif Mulky, Vice Chairman Afeeq Hussain, Abdul Rehman Sajpa and their entire team mate including all the Vice Presidents, Managing committee members and ladies wing members for the successful functioning of the health camp.
