Sunil Cornelio Laid to Rest at Mount Rosary

Kallianpur, Nov 14, 2015:Sunil Cornelio was taken to heavenly abode in a bitter farewell by his family, relative’s, friend’s, parish community, and his college mates.  Bright naive friendly final year Bcom Student of Milagres College who died in a tragic accident on the Sunday night after visiting a function Sunil was on his way back home riding his pulsar bike that skidded and dragged about 20 meters and hit the culvert. Later Admitted to KMC hospital in Manipal he fought for his life for 4 days in coma.

The students all on tears gave adieu to him...this morning at the Mount Rosary church Dr Neri Cornelio principal of Milagres College extended the condolences on behalf of the students and staff of Milagres College various officials of the local political administration attended the funeral.... It was heart rendering to see the grieving family at the cemetery....

Obituary : Sunil Austin Cornelio (20), Kallianpur, Son of Thomas & Alice Cornelio, B/o. Sunny Alwyn Cornelio, near LVT Temple, Puttur, Udupi passed away on 12^th November, 2015.

Funeral Cortege leaves residence on Saturday, 14^th November, 2015 at 10 a.m. to Mount Rosary Church, Santhekatte, Kallianpur. Mass at 10.30 a.m.

Milagres College student dies in bike accident at Santhekatte

Udupi, Nov 12: A youth who was seriously injured in an accident on the night of Sunday November 8 breathed his last on Thursday November 12.

The deceased has been identified as Sunil Cornelio, son of Thomas and Alice Cornelio, residents of LVT, Santhekatte.

Sunil was riding home after attending a wedding function when he suddenly lost balance and the bike skid. Sunil who got thrown off into the roadside rainwater channel sustained serious injuries. He was later shifted to a hospital by occupants of a passing car, sources said.

After fighting for life for nearly five days, Sunil passed away at around 9.30 am on Thursday.

He was a third year BCom student of Milagres College, Kallianpur.

A case is yet to be registered.
