Print Udupi : “Nanu Awanalla Awalu” a two national award winning feature film to be screened in Alankar Theatre in Udupi at 4.30 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. shows on Thursday, 29th October, 2015, said Manjunath Kamath, leader of WhatsApp group which will be organizing the shows during the press conference at Press Club on Monday,26th October.
He said that director of the movie Nanu Awanalla Awalu, B. S. Lingaraju along with actor Sanchari Vijay will interact with the audience after the film. Due to screening of other commercial films it will be difficult to screen this national awarded film in Udupi. There are more than 150 transgenders in Udupi and they have been specially invited during the screening the film. Meanwhile people’s representatives, officials, businessmen and others are invited. He also said that Transgenders are also part of our society and they should be also brought to the main stream by providing them jobs and other facilities.
During the press meet along with Manjunath Kamath, Suchin Kotian, Gururaj Sanil, Ganapathi Dewana, Vidyanath K. Sanjeev Vandse and Nedishwar were present.
