Udupi : The house of Souza’s - a household name through the length and breadth of coastal Karnataka will launch its retail outlet for Cashews and driedfruits in Udupi at 4pm on 25/10/2015. It will be started at the Church Building situated on the prominent K.M. Marg of Udupi.

Shri Oscar Fernandes, M.P. will inaugurate. Very Rev. Fr. Fred Mascarenhas, Parish Priest of Mother of Sorrows Church will bless in the august presence of Shri Yuvarj P., the President of City Municipality of Udupi. Shri K. Narendranath Kamath, DGM of Syndicate Bank, R.O., Mangalore will be the guest of honour. Prominent businessman Shri Airody Ghanashyama Pai will initiate the inaugural purchase.

 The retail outlet will be an One Stop Shoppe for Nutritious Nutty Delights like plain Cashewnuts, Almonds, Walnuts, Dates, Pistachios,Figs, Apricots, Raisins, salted & flavoured cashews, gift boxes and gift items. This will be the first of its kind shop in Udupi and will be welcomed by all the consumers in the Udupi district, who will have access to the finest nut-food in the future.

The house of Souza’s is one of the oldest and most reputed in the field of Raw Cashewnuts imports, processing and exporting for the last four decades and has factories in Puttur, Mangalore and Udupi. Their export destinations are spread over 40 countries of the world including USA, Canada, Europe, Japan, Korea, Middle-East and the African continent. Dr. Christopher D’Souza, the Managing Partner of the new venture has solicited the gracious presence of the consumers at the inaugural and thereafter on all working days.
