Print Rosary Ward, Kemmannu celebrates Annual Feast.
Kemmannu, October 11: Members of Rosary Ward, Gudiyam, Kemmannu Church celebrated the feast of their Patron Rosary Queen on Sunday October 11, 2015. Members conducted the liturgy at the Sunday mass celebrated by Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Ferdinand Gonsalves.
The celebratory stage function was held at the house of Mrs. Celestine D’Souza of Talihitlu which began with the Rosary.
Ward Head Mrs. Mary D’Souza welcomed the guests. 5 new families were welcomed to the ward by offering roses to the members. New born Rose Ann was also welcomed to the ward as a new member. Children who have excelled in academics, sports and elocution competitions were felicitated.
Members of the ward presented their talents with lots of dance and skits. Parish priest, Family members of Mrs. Celestine D’Souza,guests and ward members joined in the celebrations. The function concluded with buffet lunch.
Ward Head, Gurkarn Mrs. Mary D’Souza co-ordinated the programme with Mr. Jayaprakash D’ Souza and Mr. Charles Lewis. Miss Cherith and Crisil Lewis conducted the games. Mr Thomas D’Souza compeered the programme and proposed the vote of thanks. Photographs by Nikhil Menezes.
