Print Udupi : BJP Mahila Morcha protested in Udupi at Clock Tower near service bus stand on Friday, 8th October, 2015 against the Gang rape of BPO women employee of Bangalore recently.
BJP Mahila Morcha Udupi district President Sheela K. Shetty said that it’s very difficult to walk now a days for the women under Siddaramaiaha’s congress party’s rule in the state. It would be destiny of the BJP that since several protests held in this place against the rule of congress government in the state. Congress Government in the state protecting the criminals. There is no security for the women in the state. For the lawbreakers in regard to women’s safety strong punishment needed said Sheela K. Shetty.
Shyamala Kunder BJP State women wing secretary said that state government failed in all to provide security for the women. She attacked the state government that failure in governing the state in all field.
Geetanjali Suvarna, Raghavendra Uppoor and other spoke during the protest meet. Yashpal Suvarna, Geetha Ravi Shet, Sharada, Shilpa Suvarna, Sandya Ramesh,Rashmitha and other women leaders and well as women municipal councilors and others were present.
