Udupi : Nadoja Dr. G. Shanker, Trustee of G. Shanker Family Trust celebrated 60^th Birthday with distinctive atmosphere by distributing aid to more than 1000 kidney and Cancer patients and aid to orphanage homes, old age homes and special schools at Shamili Hall, Udupi on Monday, 5^th October, 2015.

The programme began with invocation prayer by Vijaya Suvarna Malpe and beautiful prayer dance. Shamili daughter of G.Shanker couple welcomed the gatherings.

In his key note address Nadoja Dr. G. Shanker said that during in his 60 years of life he found up and downs. He went to Bejapur with the dream of earnings and he started with Rs. 180 wages and day by day he earned good and developed in this stage with the help and blessings from his parents. In his earlier days he understood the feelings of poor and the needy people. He started the habit of distribution of something which he earned for the needy with the help of God. He said he recovered the debt of native soil and yet to recover the debt at Bijapur which he never fails.

He further said that he is happy to celebrate his 60^th Birthday with the large patients  are suffering from chronic diseases who need to fill confidence. When we live in society, we have to give back something to the society who need badly in several ways. He is happy to give something for the patients what God has given him even though he would have not sufficient bank balance. He wanted to give help in sense of food, health and education for the poor.

The programme was inaugurated by 4 year old Blood Cancer patient Saumya, daughter of Lingaraj and Veena of Amruthpura, North Karnataka along with Justice S.R. Naik President of State Legal Commission, Bangalore and other guests on the dais by lighting the lamp. Rs. One lakh donated to Saumya for her treatment during the occasion.
