Udupi : B. Vijaykumar Hegde of Susi Research Centre, Shivalli near here developed third unit of the Tidal Power Plant which will be produced around 5 kilo watts.

During the press meet held at Shivalli on Wednesday, Vijaykumar Hegde gave full pledged details of the present project that the tidal power plant will be significance to Udupi district that recived good response and get offer from Great Briton.

He said that due to the Susi Global Research Centre would be recognized renewable energy system by worldwide which will be much happy note. Mainly with tidal power production, Gas saving oven and thirdly self charging battery system for vehicles and railways which attracted to the world.

The reasons behind the attraction that saving economically, to protect global warming, protect climate change, help for agriculture and industries, low cost project, can save fossil fuel.

. He needs a constant wave pressure at Kemmannu Beach in order to establish the third tidal power plant. He happily say that he has a lot of demand overseas due to its features and cost effectiveness.

The eligibilities of Tidal power that low cost to produce electricity, less place to locate, no harm for the environment, no violation of C.R.Z. laws, no disturbance for fishing, no fluctuation in production, no violation of naval laws, can control sea erosion near the plant, attraction for tourism, cent percent can produce electricity from tidal power plant.

Hegde’s other project that 60% gas saving oven which stoves absorb heat and retain it where cooking will be held faster than ordinary cooking. This type of energy saving oven will be beneficial for hotels, canteens, schools and it saves Rs. 2000 per day, he argued. Around 25% Indian Hoteliers can save around 60 lacs crores.

Other project of Hegde is Battery self charging system. He said 30% diesel and petrol to be saved and Crores of money can be saved due to battery self charging system.

Retired Prof. Narayana Shanbaug, Former retired Principal of Canara College, Mangaluru was donated Rs. One lakh cash for Hegde on account of his courageous efforts to the projects.
