Print Dubai: Kemmannu Flowers Committee Members Celebrate Monthi Fest.
Dubai, Sep 18, 2015: The committee members of Kemmannu Flowers, UAE celebrated the Monthi Festh 2015 at the Residence of Ex-President Mr. Sydney D’souza in Karama, Dubai on Friday, 18th September at 12.30 p.m.
The event began with the traditional way of adoring Mother Mary with Flowers by children along with the Novena Prayers and hymns. This was followed by entertainment activities for children and adults. Prizes sponsored by the members were distributed to the winners.
Most interesting part was the delicious veggies, pathrade , vorn and fish curry prepared and brought by the committee members. Food was served on banana leaves in a traditional way. Kemmannu Flowers, UAE, president Mr. Melwyne Fernandes thanked the committee members for their support in celebrating this tradition followed by our ancestors.
