Udupi : The farewell function for Gretta Gonsalves teacher of St. Joseph’s Higher Primary School, Kallianpur near here held at Milagres Tri-centenary Hall on Tuesday, 7^th April, 2015 which organized by Milagres Institutions management. Her dedicated service to 41 years as teacher, out of 26 years for Marynol Higher Primary School Barkur and 15 years for St. Joseph’s Higher Primary School, Kallianpur who retiring today.

During the bid farewell function Very Rev Fr. Stany B. Lobo Correspondent of Milagres Educational Institutions, Roby Pinto Resource Person from Brahmavar region Department of Education, Walter Cyril Pinto Vice President of Milagres Parish Pastoral Council, Sujay Jatthan President of PTA., Sr. Susheela Montiero Headmistress of St. Joseph’s., Nirmitha School Development official and person of the day Gretta Gonsalves and her husband Stany Lewis were present on the dais.

After invocation dance by school students the function was inaugurated by Gretta Gonsalves nee Lewis along with dignitaries’. Mukund Naik gave introduction on his colleague Gretta Gonsalves very long. Robin Pinto gave his beautiful address on behalf of educational department. Lilly Nazareth retired Headmistress and colleague of Gretta teacher spoke with emotional words towards retiring teacher.

Gretta Teacher was felicitated with shawl, memento, fruits, garland etc., etc., by Very Rev Fr. Stany Lobo and dignitaries’ on the dais and later staff, PTA members, well wishers and others. It was really beautiful memorable moment for Gretta Teacher. Prior to the felicitation letter of honor read by Headmistress Sr. Susheela Montiero.

Herald D’Silva Senior teacher spoke during the occasion. Gretta Teacher gave gratitude words for the management, staff, students, PTA member and all concerned for their valuable support during her teaching career at St. Joseph’s.

Rev. Fr. Stany B. Lobo gave her presidential speech and thankful to Gretta Gonsalves for her valuable service to the school.

Entertainment program was held at the end. Mukund Naik teacher compered the program while Lilavathi teacher welcomed the gatherings and Diana teacher proposed vote of thanks.
