Print Udupi : Across the state in various centers’ S.S.L.C. examination started from today, Monday, 30th March, 2015.The exams will go on up to 13th April.
36,514 students in Udupi district are appearing for SSLC examinations, out of which 17,112 are in Udupi City and there are 58 examinations centers in the district. Among 17,112 students, 8,922 students are boys while 8,190 are girls’ students appearing for the exams. 628 students are repeaters while 427 students are private.
Diwakar Shetty DDPI said that the department of public instructions has made all arrangements to conduct examinations smoothly. A special police squad has been arranged to control malpractices in examinations halls.
At the examinations hall, students have been asked to read the question paper thoroughly and answer to the point. Students have been to remain calm, eat food on time and get sound sleep in order to prepare for 10th examinations which started today. Students not stay awake late into the night but rise early in the morning doing preparation. The students have been asked to reach the exam hall 30 minutes ahead without forgetting the hall ticket, pen and pencil.
