The Golden Jubile Celebration of Government Junior College, Kemmannu,

The Golden Jubile Celebration of Government Junior College, Kemmannu, was recently held on 27th & 28th Dec. of 2014.
On 27.12.2014  @ 8.30 am. Sri.William Lobo ( Social worker & Business Doha Qatar) inaugurated the Suvarna Mahotsava Procession. Sri. Mohammed Mohammed Moula  ( Naina Fancy Center, Udupi) hoisted  the Flag. The open stage stoneaid by Shri Shri Shri Laxmiavara Thirtha Shripadanalavaru, Shree Shirror Mutt, Udupi.  The Suvarna Mahotsava programme was inaugurated by Sri. Laxman Amin, Amin Bearings, Udupi. Sri Raghuram Shetty  presided the programme. The Chief guest of the function Mr. Rahemathulla Thonse,  Taluk Panchayat Member. Mr. Nandakishore  OSA, Government Junior College, Kemmanu, Prinical Smt. Padmakashi, High School HM Sri Suresh  Nayak were present  in the occasion.  The master of the ceremony was Smt. Ujwal Shetty & Vote of thanks by Sri. Suresh Nayak.

On 27.12.2014 @ 2.00 PM -  The prizes were disturbed  on the afternoon programme for high school and college students, who won prizes in sports, games, cultural and studies. Sri. Jayakar Shetty Indrali ( General Manager, Badagubettu Credit Co-op. So. Ltd., Udupi.), Mr. Dinkar Shetty  were the chief guest for this occasion. Sri. Raguram Shetty    presided the programme. Nandakishore  O.S.A., Government Junior College, Kemmannu, Principal Smt. Padmakashi, High School HM Sri Suresh  Nayak were present  in the occasion. The college and high school students performed cultural programme.

On 28.12.2014 @ 3.00 PM :  The programme  was inaugurated by Sri. Pramod Madwaraj, M.L.A., Udupi. The programme was presided by Smt. Mallika Ashok, Member Jilla Panchayat, Udupi.  Sri. Vinaya Kumar Sorake, inaugurated the College New Building. The  college  website was  inaugurated by Sri. Rajgopal B Shetty ( Businessman, Mumbai).  The souvenir released by Sri.  Jayakrishna A Shetty   ( President, Jayashree Krishna Parisara Premi Samit).  The Chief Guest of the function Smt. Veronika Cornelio, Taluk Panchayat Member,  Sri. B M Jafar, ( Chairman, Thonse Health Center), Sri. Prasadraj Kanchan ( MD Kanchana Hyundai, Udupi- Mangalore), Smt. Yashoda ( Businessman, Bangalore). Sri. R B Nayak Joint Director,  Junior College Education Department. The welcome speech by Sri. Raghuram Shetty ( President Suvarna Mahothsava Samit), Nandakishore  O.S.A., Government Junior College, Kemmannu, Principal Smt. Padmakashi, High School HM Sri Suresh  Nayak were present  in the occasion.  Retired 17 teachers  & 7 sub staff  of the college were honored during the occasion. Building Contractor Sri. Suresh Shetty & the President of Suvarna Mahothsava Samit Sri Raghuram Shetty were also honored. The master of ceremony of the programme Sri. Sathishchandra Shetty.  At the end the old students  performed cultural, dance & orchestra  programme.
