Titan Eyeplus launches its first store in Udupi

Print Udupi : Tital Eye Plus, the leading eyewear retail chain from Titan company Limited launched its first eyewear store in Udupi. Located in Ajjarkad, the hew store was inaugurated by Mr. Bhaskar Bhat, Managing Director, Titan Company Ltd.,. To celebrate occasion, Titan Eyeplus also announced a 10% discount inaugural offer from 29th December, 2014 to 4th January, 2015 on all frame collections as well as Tital Lens products.
Speaking at the launch Mr. Bhaskar Bhat, Managing Director, Titan Company Ltd., said that we are excited to launch 1st store in Udupi. South India is a priority market for us and we are focused on expanding our retail network in the region.
Today 33 stores in Karnataka and 102 stores in the South offering world class services complimented by world class products. By expanding presence in the country, we not only aim at focusing on eye-care and facilitating eye check – ups, but also providing the latest styles in eyewear to discerning customers.
He further added that Udupi is also located in close proximity to one of the largest university towns in the country – Manipal which boasts of an extensive student population. As per the recently conducted ‘Screen Junkie Poll’ by Titan Eyeplus, discovered that 77% of students wear spectacles as per the national average of 64% and 85% of this group had seen their reliance of screen based devices increased compared to five years ago.
At present Titan Eye Plus has over 252 stores operating in 92 countries.
