Prathibha Puraskar – Academic Excellence Award by Mogaveers Bahrain
   
Manama, Bahrain: The selection of meritorious students for the Educational Excellence Awards which are intended to be offered by the Mogaveers Bahrain Organization to the students of Mogaveer Community, who passed with distinction in S.S.L.C final examinations of April-2014 conducted by Karnataka State Secondary Education Board, is finalized and the details of the selected students who are eligible for the award are as follows:

First Prize: Prajna Hemanath Puthran, Hejmadi Kodi [98.88%], Second Prize: Niteesh Kumar Shankar, Kirimanjeshwar [96.00%] and Third Prize: Puneeth Karunakar Karkera, Mattu-Katpadi [94.08%].

Third Prize: Puneeth Karunakar Karkera, Mattu-Katpadi

Similarly, the organization has selected five other students from the same community who have shown good academic performance for consolation prizes. Accordingly, Thekkatte Bhagawathi Narayan, Airody Varsha Shankar, Kadekar Bhagyashree Shankar, Koteshwar Noopura Anand, Hebri Varshitha Rathnakar will be receiving the awards.

This felicitation programme of the educational achievers has been conducted since past ten years as the prominent programme of the organization. The first, second, third and consolation prize winners will get the prestigious memento, certificate and a shawl along with Rs.10,000, Rs.7,000 and Rs.5,000 cash prize respectively.

Kavrady Vinaya Rama Mogaveer, a student from economically backward family has been selected by the Organization for an individual scholarship along with the award for her achievement in education. She will also receive Rs.3,000/- cash prize as an educational aid. The prize distribution programme will be held soon at Elooru Mogaveera Sabha Bhavana, Malpe – Udupi in association with Mogaveera Yuva Sanghatane, Malpe Ghataka – Udupi.

The main sponsors of the award for this time will be Subhashchandra Shirooru for first prize, Shamith Kundar for second prize and Kodandarama Salian for third prize. Leeladhar Baikampady, Girish Idya, Theertha Suvarna, Suresh Amin, Puneeth Puthran, Padmanabh Kanchan, Vinod Shriyan, Chandrashekar Mendon, Manoj Suvarna, Janardhan Thingalaya and Arun Kidiyoor have extended their co-operation as Co-Sponsors.
