Print Udupi : District level Primary and High School Day Night Sports will be held at Perdoor High School , Perdoor ground near here from 17thNovember to 19th November, 2014. Karnataka Government Zilla Panchayat, Public Education Department and Perdoor High School jointly organizing three days and night grand sports meet will inaugurated on 17th November by Kimmane Rathnakar Minister of High School Education.
During the inauguration of the spsorts meet Vinay Kumar Sorake Minister in charge will presides. Udupi Zilla Panchayat President Savitha Shivanand Kotian will hoist the flag. Dr. H. N. Ballal, President of Manipal Academy of General Education will take the auth while Shobha Karandleje local MP will lit the Kreedajyothi.
B. S. Yudiyarappa MP from Shivmugga, Sunil Kumar Karkala MLA, Capt. Ganesh Karnik MLC, Oscar Fernandes Rajya Sabha MP, Haladi Srinivas Shetty Kundapur MLA, Gopala Poojary Byndoor MLA, Pramod Madwaraj Udupi MLA, K. Pratapchandra Shetty MLC, Srinivas Poojary MLC, Prakash T. Tendon, Vice President of Zilla Panchayat, Dr. R. Vishal DC and other will present during the inaugural program.
Valedictory function of the sports meet will be held on 18th November which Perdoor Panchayat President Shivarama Shetty will presides. Dr. H. Shantharam will distribute the prizes for winners of the various games. Sunitha Naik President of Taluk Panchayat and others will guests during the valedictory function.
During the press meet H. S. Ganesh Bhat Secretary, Palaje Pramod Rai, Sithanadi Vittal Shetty District Physical Educational Officer, Madhuker S, Nagesh Shanbaug, BEO and others were present.
