Print District BJP staged Bus-Roko at KSRTC Bus Station
Udupi : District Bharathiya Janatha Party staged Bus – Roko at KSRTC Bus Station on Monday, 10th November here demanding immediate reduce of bus fares of Karnataka state Road Transport and city fares due to decrease in diesel prices in the country.
Prior to the bus-roko at KSRTC Bus station, top BJP leaders gathered in front of Gandhiji statue, Clock Tower, near service bus station. Kuthyaru Naveen Shetty General Secretary welcomed the gatherings. Udaykumar Shetty past President of District BJP said that under the leadership of Narendra Modi the prices of petrol and diesel in the country. The prices of essential commodities marginally reduced. Near about Rs. Six reduced for the diesel prices. But, State Congress Government not willing to reduce the prices of bus fares in the state. One or other reasons BJP demonstrating against the state government ruling due to all way failure.
BJP staged KSRTC bus-roko for near about half an hour by sitting in front of KSRTC bus. Shyamala Kunder, Sheela Shetty, Katpady Srinivas Poojary, Mattar Ratnakar Hegde, Geethanjali Suverna, Raghavendra Kini, Kuthyaru Naveen Shetty, former MLA Lalaji Mendon, Yaspal Suvarna, Salim Ambagilu, Kiran Kumar, Ranjit, Umesh Shetty, Chinmaya Kumar and BJP volunteers were present and later submitted memorandum to state government through the DC.
