Print Udupi : Without religion there is no life. Religion has the part of tradition and culture. We have more than 20,000 years of history of our tradition and culture rather 500 years history at America. We will be strong when growth of our culture, said Dr. Mohan Alva Educationalist & President of Alva’s Educational Institutes of Moodabidri. He further said that Arts, Tradition and Culture have strong foundation in our country, but we have to maintain and that our responsibility to alive our tradition and culture.
Dr. Mohan Alva spoke during the valedictory function on the occasion of Sri Krishna Janmahotsava, Vittla Pindi and Sri. Krishna Leelotsava cultural celebrations held at Rajangana Sabha Bhavan on Thursday, 18th September, 2014.
Paryaya Swamiji of Kanyoor Mutt Sri Vidyavallabha Thirtha Sreepada said that Eight days Sri Krishna Janmahotsava celebrated in Krishna Mutt with utmost fervor. He thanked all those concerned to successfully conclusion of celebrations since eight days with several cultural and religious programs at Rajangana Sabha Bhavan.
Sri Laxmivara Thirtha Swamiji of Shiroor Mutt also present on the dais and spoke during the occasion. Local MLA Pramod Madwaraj, former MLA Raghupathy Bhat, Manohar Shetty Managing Director of Sree Radha Groups were present on the dais and spoke during the occasion. Diwan Raghupathy Acharya also present.
Prizes were distributed to various competitions winners during the occasion. Cultural programs were held by Students of Alva’s Educational Institutions. Krishnamoorthi Acharya welcomed and proposed vote of thanks.
