Kundapura, July 14, 2014: In an protest led by ABVP and SFI, student of Kundapur Taluk boycotted classes today and held protest demanding the justice for 17 year old minor Ratna Kotari, a first PU College Student found dead in a forest area at Alandoor Near Byndoor. The protesters shouted slogans demanding the immediate arrest of the killers and justice to the poor family.
According to the protesters even after the passing of two days after the crime came to the light, nobody is having any clues about the death. whoever the culprits they should be arrested without further delay and justice to be provided to the poor family, demanded the protesters.
Because criminals are rarely punished, the rapes and murders are increasing in India and this is spreading to our costal Karnataka, they said.
The protesters took rally through the Kundapur Main Road and submitted the memorandum to the State home minister through Kundapur Tahsildar. SFI State secretary Gururaj Desai addressed the protesters. ABVP leaders from BHandarkar and Dr. B. B. Hegde College and the students leaders of SFI led the protest.
