Udupi : The installation ceremony of the new office bearers for the year 2014-15 of Rotary Kallianpur of Zone II, R.I.District 3180 held at Milagres Tri-centenary Hall, Kallianpur on Thursday, 10^th July, 2014.

Present on the dais were Rtn. PHF Ravi D.S. (DGN 2016-17 of the district 3180) the Installation Officer, Rtn. PHF Dinesh Hegde Athrady, Asst. Governor of Zone II, Rtn. PHF C. Ashok Kumar Shetty Zonal Lieutenant, Zone II, Rtn. T. Rama Poojary President 2013/14, Rtn P. Nagaraj Rao Secretary 2013/14, Rtn Peter Cornelio President 2014/15 and Rtn. Desmond  H. Vas Secretary 2014/15.

Earlier as usual invocation prayer by Rtn Crasto and Rtn. Bhat, President T. Rama Poojary welcomed the gatherings. Rtn P. Nagaraj Rao placed the Club Activity report the year. Installation Officer Rtn PHF Ravi D. S. installed the new President Rtn Peter Cornelio and Rtn Desmond H. Vas Secretary respectively.

Two newly members were inducted during the occasion by the installation officer. Various prizes and donations were distributed to the various institutions during the occasion. Miss Adeline Lewis of Milagres English School and Master Puneeth Kumar formerly Milagrean and student of Mount Rosary felicitated during the occasion for their achievement in SSLC Examination. All the two chief guests as well as installation officer spoke during the occasion. Rtn Desmond H. Vas proposed vote of thanks. The Rotary International theme for the year ‘LIGHT UP ROTARY’ given by R. I. President Rtn Garry C. K. Huang is quite thought provoking.

Rtn Peter Cornelio said that members of Rotary Kallianpur have put trust on him and thought that he can lead the club of 29 years of age to a greater height. Rtn. Ramakrishna and Rtn Prashanth Shetty compered the programme.
