Print Udupi, Feb 9 : Udupi MLA Yash Pal Suvarna visited the drinking water baje dam area of Udupi Municipality along with the officials and checked the water storage level and got information from the officials.
MLA Yash Pal Suvarna instructed the authorities to discuss the water storage capacity and inflow of Baje Dam and take action immediately so that there is no problem in the continuous water supply to the people of Udupi city.
He said that water is being supplied to the city through the Varahi project and there is availability of supplementary water for continuous water supply in Baje Dam.
On this occasion, he visited the recently upgraded water purification plant and discussed with the officials about the work activities and suggested that the plant should be maintained well and the people of Udupi should be given special priority for continuous supply of clean drinking water.
