"Vibrant Showcase: Intercollegiate PU Fest MILAVERSE 2025 Concludes with Grandeur"

The IQAC initiated and organized MILAVERSE 2025 Intercollegiate PU fest took place on November 27, 2025, at the college campus. The program began with a beautiful prayer song by the college Choir group led by Mr. Joel from Final year BCA, followed by a classical welcome dance by the students.

Mrs. Shylet Mathais, IQAC Coordinator, welcomed the dignitaries and gathering of the program. Dr. George K, Principal, Silas PU College, Udupi, inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. In his inaugural speech, he mentioned the importance of education and co-curricular activities in a student’s life. He also highlighted how students can get involved in different activities academically and how to inculcate participative culture among the students.

The chief guest of the program, Mr. Nagaraj, Alumnus & President, Kallianpur Grama Panchayath, wished the participants for the fest. Dr. Vincent Alva gave information regarding how the institution takes initiative and executes the plan to distribute laptops to the students for their upgradation of their knowledge. The delegates then distributed laptops to the students.

The president of the program, Msgr. Rev. Fr. Ferdinand Gonsalves, Correspondent Milagres Institutions, Kallianpur, gave a presidential remark and blessed the event and participants of different colleges. During the program, Mr. Richard Jeevan Moras, Principal Milagres PU College, Mrs. Sophia Dias, Vice Principal, teaching staffs, and administrative staffs were present. The program ended with a vote of thanks proposed by Mrs. Sushma Shetty, SWC Director, and Ms. Chaithra, Department of English, camped the program.

After the inaugural program, students were busy participating in different events and activities. The fest consisted of 11 events, including 5 technical and non-technical events. Students from different colleges participated enthusiastically in the events. Some students put up food stalls and games. BCA students presented their talents by showcasing their IOT project works, named IGNITE Exhibition.

A total of 15 projects were presented, and the top 3 outstanding projects were selected as winners, namely Kavach Defence system, Smart irrigation system, and smart cowshed. The day ended with a valedictory program. Mrs. Shwetha Srinivasa, Principal, Christian PU College, Udupi, was the chief guest.

Mr. Ravinandan unveiled the winners of each event and announced the winner of MILAVERSE 2025 - Shamili PU College, Udupi, and the runner-up of MILAVERSE 2025 - Milagres PU College Kallianpur, Udupi. The overall program was joyful and entertaining for all the students and staff, marking a remarkable milestone for the college in organizing the best outreach program for PU students from different colleges.
