Golden Girl Jesnia Correa Strikes Gold again at CBSE National Skating Championship 2025

Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru proudly celebrates the outstanding achievement of Grade IX student Jesnia Correa, who has once again won a gold medal at the CBSE National Skating Championship 2025.

Displaying exceptional speed, agility and focus, Jesnia dominated the 500m rink race in the Under-17 category, held at HSV Global School, Gurgaon, Haryana, from November 10 to 15, 2025. Her powerful performance placed her well ahead of the competition, earning her top honour and bringing tremendous pride to the school, her parents, and her mentors.

This victory adds another shining chapter to Jesnia’s impressive skating journey. Over the years, she has steadily risen through district, state, and national competitions, consistently showcasing talent, grit, and discipline. Her latest achievement stands as a beacon of motivation for every young sportsperson striving for excellence.

Jesnia’s parents, Jerome and Pritha Correa of Bejai, remain her strongest pillars of support, encouraging her every day to chase her dreams fearlessly. She gets trained at the Hi Flyers Skating Club, Skate City, Ashoknagar, where she is groomed under the mentorship of coaches Mr. Mohan, Mr. Prateek Raja, Mr. Ramanand and Mr. Kumar.
