Print Liturgy Seminar Inspires Faith Renewal at Mount Rosary Church
A meaningful Liturgy Seminar aimed at deepening faith and re-energising liturgical practices was held at Mount Rosary Church, Santhekatte Kallianpur, on Sunday, 9th November 2025. About 150 enthusiastic parishioners actively participated in this spiritually enriching half-day programme.
The session, conducted from 9:00 am to 11:30 am, was led by Rev. Fr. Jithesh Castelino, Deputy Director of Divya Jyothi. His talk was lively, insightful, and highly informative—helping the faithful understand the Holy Mass and Sacraments, the true meaning behind rituals, and the importance of signs and symbols in the Roman Catholic tradition. Many participants felt renewed appreciation for the beauty and depth of the liturgy.
Earlier at 8:00 am, Fr. Jithesh was the main celebrant for the Holy Mass, joined by Parish Priest Rev. Dr. Roque D’Souza, who warmly welcomed him and introduced him to the congregation.
Sr. Ancilla R. D’Mello, Animator of the Parish Liturgy Commission, offered a bouquet to Fr. Jithesh as a token of gratitude. In her concluding message, she sincerely thanked him for his valuable time, inspiring inputs, and heartfelt guidance.
The Pastoral Council office-bearers and members of the Liturgy Commission meticulously organised the seminar, ensuring smooth arrangements including the PPT support and refreshments for all attendees.
The seminar not only enhanced liturgical awareness but also strengthened the community’s commitment to live the faith more meaningfully.
