Manipal Police arrest four youths for late night brawl on public place

Print Udupi: Manipal police have arrested four persons in connection with a brawl that took place at a public place.
The incident took place on 08-11-2025 at around 10 pm, in front of Downtown Bar & Restaurant located near Ishwanagar in Herga village of Udupi taluk.
According to the police, the accused, identified as Chandan, Amar Shetty, Dhanush, Nitesh, Sujan and Ninad Ajay, were having dinner at the bar when an argument broke out between them after Chandan’s hand hit Amar Shetty’s hand.
Based on a complaint lodged by ASI Mohan Das, a case under Crime No. 203/2025, Section 194 (2) BNS-2023 has been registered at Manipal Police Station and investigation taken up.
The accused have been identified as Amar Shetty and Chandan C. Salian, Dhanush and Ajay were arrested and legal action was taken against them.
