Print All Saints’ and All Souls’ Day Celebrations at Mount Rosary Church, Santhekatte – Kallianpur
Mount Rosary Church, Santhekatte–Kallianpur, joined the Universal Church in solemnly celebrating All Saints’ Day on Friday, 1st November 2025. The festal High Mass at 7:00 a.m. was celebrated by the Parish Priest, Rev. Dr. Roque D’Souza, who in his meaningful homily inspired the faithful to emulate the virtues of the saints and strive to live a holy and saintly life in today’s world.
The Catholic Sabha Mount Rosary Unit took an active part in organizing the day’s liturgy and ensured smooth arrangements, including systematic parking and the blessing of vehicles after the Mass. Their dedication and teamwork added much grace and order to the celebration.
The following morning, Saturday, 2nd November 2025, was devoted to All Souls’ Day, a day of remembrance and prayer for the faithful departed. A large number of parishioners gathered devoutly for the Holy Mass at 7:30 a.m., celebrated by Assistant Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Rohan Mascarenhas.
Following the Mass, at 8:30 a.m., a meaningful prayer service was held at the cemetery in the presence of the faithful, where heartfelt prayers and hymns were offered for the repose of the souls of their dear departed. The serene and prayerful atmosphere reflected the deep faith and love of the parish community for their loved ones who have gone before them.
Both days witnessed a spirit of devotion, gratitude, and unity, reminding all that sainthood begins with small acts of love and faithfulness in daily life.
May the saints intercede for us, and may the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace.
