SDPI leader Riyaz Kadambu gets bail in hate speech case

Print Udupi, Oct 10 : SDPI leader Riyaz Kadambu earlier has been remanded to 14 day judicial custody by the Udupi court in connection with a hate speech case. The court has given conditional bail to him. According to the bail conditions set by the court, Riyaz Kadambu should not make any hate speech or derogatory statements in the future. He should fully cooperate with the investigation. The court warned that if any of these two conditions are violated, the bail is likely to be cancelled.
Earlier, a case was registered against Riyaz Kadambu for hate speech in Udupi city police station limits. He was granted bail by the High Court and was asked to appear before the Udupi city police station within 15 days. However, Riyaz Kadambu did not turn up at the police station and violated the conditions.
