Belgaum Oct. 4:All the patients coming to the hospital are from poor and middle class families. My goal is to build a government medical college and a multi-speciality hospital in every district to provide the best health care to them, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said.

He inaugurated the super speciality hospital building constructed on the premises of Belgaum Institute of Medical Sciences, inaugurated the construction work of Home Doctors Hostel, inaugurated the North-West Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) Belgaum Bus Stand constructed with the assistance of Belgaum Smart City, laid the foundation stone for various buildings of Rani Channamma University at Hirebagewadi and the road works connecting the national highway to the new campus.

Building a hospital is not enough. A specialist doctor will be appointed. We have decided to fill the vacancies.

At present, doctors at Prabhakar Kore’s multi-speciality hospital are providing free services at the government speciality hospital. I congratulate them for this.

Our government is providing opportunities and benefits to the grassroots communities in the direction of eradicating inequality. He said that we are formulating the program keeping in mind the words that people from the lower communities cannot come to the mainstream as long as there is inequality.

Our government is making programmes as per the wishes of Buddha-Basava-Gandhi-Ambedkar. It is the aspiration of everyone that the development of the society and the country is possible only when the development reaches the last person. Therefore, we are formulating welfare programmes for all, "he said.

He said that the Bhagyas that I implemented as Chief Minister for the first time, the guarantees that have now been implemented, have increased the purchasing power of the people of the state, the per capita income and made women economically empowered.
