28th AGM of Catholic Credit Co-operative Society Ltd. Brahmavar
 
Brahmavar : The Annual General Body Meeting of Catholic Credit Co-operative Society Ltd.  Brahmavara having its Registered Office at Brahmavar held on 21/09/2025 at SMS Church Community Hall Brahmavara.

President Vice President and Directors were escorted by CEO Mr. Sanjay Fernandes to the dias at 10.30 a.m.. Konkani hymn “Pavithr Aathmya ye Devon...” was sung and President offered a prayer invoking Almighty God’s Belssings. A tribute with silent prayer was offered for the repose of depareted souls of members of this society who passed away during the Financial Year 2024 25. Also homage given to the late Mrs. Gretta Suares, Director during the tenure 2020-2025 who was passed away on 27/07/2025.

President of the Society Mr. Jerald M Gonsalves Presided over the AGM and welcomed the dignitaries on the Dias with flowers, also welcomed all Members, Customers of the Society, Co operative Department representatives, Invitees, Students  and guests.

Scholarships were distributed to the Children of Society’s members who have scored 90% and above in SSLC, 85% and above in PUC during the academic year 2024-2025. 30 Students were  honoured, Mr. Jeston Dias of Bennekudru was felicitated for securing 4th Rank in Second PUC Science division. In his absence his father Mr James Dias received the honour.

The CEO read the AGM notice issued to it’s members and it was unanimously approved  and recorded.

The Society was recognised by receiving 2024-2025 Achievers Award for all round performance during the Annual General Body Meeting of SCDCC Bank Mangalore on 30/08/2025. Immediate Past President Mr. Valerian Menezes and Past Vice President Mr. Gilbert Rodrigues were felicitated on receiving the award.

Receipt and Payments Account, Income and Expenditure Account and Balance Sheet for the financial year 2024-2025 which was audited by CA Nishka K Kanchan was approved unanimously by the Members.

12% dividend proposed by the Board of Directors was unanimously approved by Budget for the FY 2025-2026 and plans for the year presented and it was approved unanimously by the members. CA K Padmanabha Kanchan was appointed as Statutory auditor for the FY 2025-202

Mr. Jerald M Gonsalves in his Presidential address thanked Almighty God for His blessings during 2024-2025 and prayed His continuous blessings in FY2025-2026 for accomplishing all our goals. He had thanked and expressed appreciation to the Board of Directors for their continuous support, cooperation and involvement. Also appreciated it’s members for giving support by active participation. The Staff members service was recognised. He mentioned “Staff members are the brand ambassadors of the society and we were able to achieve good result due to their continuous hard work. Our Society is known for “Service with Smile”, requested them to keep the spirit throughout. President also highlighted the need for upgrading of technology and digitalise the system to the modern era specially to attract young enterprenurs

Directors Mr. Albert Montheiro compared the event. Director Mrs. Janet Banz had raised the vote of thanks, Immediate Past President Mr. Valerian Menezes said prayer before meals. Meeting concluded with singing thanks giving hymn “Somyank Dheenvasuyan tho Boro...”. Delicious food prepared by Rodrigues Caterers was served to all participants.
