Byndoor, June 21: Minister for Women and Child Development and Udupi district in-charge minister Laxmi Hebbalkar said that the Congress government in the state is working with commitment by formulating programmes keeping in view the common man.

Speaking on the occasion of the distribution of 94C title deeds and various government benefits to the eligible beneficiaries of Byndoor Assembly constituency, the Minister said that the district will be fully supported for the development of the district. Let us all work together for the development of the region.

The Indira Canteen, a brainchild of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, was started with the aim of providing nutritious food at low cost to the poor. She said that the government is doing the work of providing breakfast for five rupees, lunch for ten rupees and filling the stomach with such less money.
