Udupi, May 26 : Scout/ Guide is an international organization. Currently, the District Commissioner is the District President of the Udupi District. Shantha Acharya has been leading the organization for many years as the chief commissioner of the district and is currently Indrali Jayakar Shetty has been leading the Bharat Scout and Guide Karnataka and District Chief Commissioner of Udupi District. Janardhan Kodavoor  is the Commissioner of Scout while Jyothi Pai is the Commissioner of Guides. 

Addressing a press conference at Udupi Press Club here on Monday, May 26, Indrali Jayakar Shetty said that the state organization has giving for the district to carry out many activities, and this year, Udupi district is the second largest in the state and given chance to honor S. S. L. C. and PUC students, it is responsible for identifying talented students who have scored more than 90 per cent and engaged in scout guide activities.

Indrali Jayakar Shetty said that under the auspices of Paryaya Putthige Math, District Scout and Guides organization to organize the felicitation programme at Rajangana on Friday, May 30, 2025. The inauguration will be held at 10 am followed by felicitation programme, he said.

Sri Krishna Math Paryaya Sri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji will bless the occasion. State Chief Commissioner Shri P.G. R Sindhya will preside over the function.    Dakshina Kannada District Chief Commissioner Mohan Alva, Udupi Chikkamagaluru MP, Shri Kota Srinivas Poojary, State Legislative Assembly Speaker Shri UT Khader, Udupi MLA Shri Yash Pal Suvarna, Kaup MLA Gurme Suresh Shetty, Karkala MLA Sunil Kumar, Kundapur MLA Kiran Kumar Kodge, Byndoor MLA Gururaj Shetty Gantihole, former minister Pramod Madhwaraj, Mr. Prabhakar Bhat of the State Organization Coordinator, C. Manjula and District Officers will participate.
