Udupi Block Congress Committee, Block Mahila Congress and Block Youth Congress staged a protest in front of the Martyr’s Memorial in Udupi against the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir. On this occasion, tributes were paid to the martyrs who lost their lives in the terrorist attack.
Former minister Vinay Kumar Sorake said that 140 crore people of the country are shaken by the terror attack in Kashmir. The central government should properly analyze the reasons for such heinous acts by terrorists in a place where there should be more security and take appropriate steps to prevent the recurrence of such incidents. He also said that the Congress party supports any decision taken by the central government in response to the dastardly attacks by terrorists.

KPCC Vice President MA Gafoor said that it is the responsibility of the ruling government to ensure that the people of the country live in peace. He said that in the wake of terrorist attacks, an atmosphere needs to be created in which everyone can live in harmony without defaming any religion.

Kushal Shetty, Nagesh Udyavar, Mahabala Kunder, Sarpuddin Shaikh, Habib Ali, Ganesh Nergi, Sajjan Shetty, Saurabh Ballal, Pramila Jattan, Jyothi Hebbar, Meenakshi Madhav, Sandhya Tilak Raj, Sharath Shetty, Satish Kumar Manchi, Bharat Manipal, Chandramohan, Naveen Shetty, Suresh Shetty Bannanje, Krishna Hebbar, Surendra Acharya, Mohammed Nasir, Yadava Kola, Mohammed, Jayaram Parkala, Anitha D’Souza, Chandrika Shetty, Archana Devadiga, Sukanya Poojary, Supreetha, Block Congress, Mahila Congress and Youth Congress office bearers and workers participated in the protest.
