Padubidri Police arrests two notorious Inter-District Motor Bike Thieves

Udupi: Padubidri police have arrested two inter-district motor bike thieves, identified as Mohammed Ruhan of Sulebail Shivamogga and Tajuddin alias Taju of Shivamogga, who had stolen a Bullet bike belonging to Parikshit of Mundoor village from a parking lot in Padubidri on January 21.

The arrested persons have been identified as Mohammed Ruhan (28), a resident of NR Pura in Chikkamagaluru district and Tajuddin PK @ Taju (28), a resident of Ashoknagar in Shivamogga district.
The police seized Rs. 4 lakh worth Bullet Bike and a Maruti Ritz car valued Rs 4 lakh used in the crime. The valuables have been seized. The accused were produced in the court and remanded to seven-day police custody.
The accused have been booked for theft at Kote, Vinobanagar, Tunga Nagar and Doddapete police stations in Shivamogga district, robbery at Agumbe police station, kidnapping of a student, vehicle theft, robbery and vehicle theft at Sagar city and rural police stations, robbery and house theft in Hassan district, vehicle theft and house theft at Dharwad city police station. According to the police, arrest warrants have also been issued by the court in all the above police stations.
