Udupi, November 30: The members of the District and Taluk Level Guarantee Implementation Committee of the State Government should perform their duty as a link between the government and the people. Lakshmi Hebbalkar, Minister of Women and Child Development Department, Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities and Senior Citizens and District In-charge Minister said that by delivering the five guarantee schemes of the government to the beneficiaries, let us make the guarantee schemes more successful.
She was speaking at the inauguration of the Udupi Taluk Guarantee Schemes Implementation Committee office of the state government at the Taluk Panchayat building in the city today.
In order to improve the standard of living of the common people, the state government has successfully implemented guarantee schemes. Along with development, women, children and youth are being assisted in their economic empowerment. She said that with all kinds of cooperation from the government and the district administration, let us be active in delivering the five guarantee schemes to the common people at their doorsteps.
On the same occasion, she distributed identity cards to the chairman and members of the Udupi Taluk Guarantee Schemes Implementation Committee. Beneficiaries of guarantee schemes shared their views.
District Collector Dr. K. Vidyakumari, District Panchayat Chief Executive Pratik Boyal, District Superintendent of Police Dr. Arun K, Urban Development Authority Chairman Dinakara Heroor, District Implementation Committee Chairman Ashok Kodavur, Udupi Taluk Guarantee Schemes Implementation Committee Chairman Ramesh Kanchan, all the implementation committee members, beneficiaries and others were present.
