Print Udupi: A day after his wife’s death, her husband also died due to shock and treatment failed, an incident took place in Udyavar.
Teacher Juliana D’sa, wife of Udyavara gram panchayat member Lawrence D’sa, died at home due to brief illness on Thursday. Shocked by his wife’s death, husband Lawrence fell seriously ill and was admitted to the hospital. But it is known that he also died on Friday today evening as the treatment was ineffective.
Serving as vice president of the local church St Francis Xavier’s Church, Udyavara, Lawrence D’sa was an office bearer and member of the local Lions Club and other organizations. Wife Juliana D’sa also served as a teacher in various schools including St Francis Xavier Senior Primary School in Udyavara.
The deceased is survived by a son, daughter and extended family.
