Udupi: Accused home nurse arrested in gold, diamond jewellery theft case

A home nurse who had stolen gold and diamond jewellery worth Rs 31,17,100 from the house where he was working as a home nurse has been arrested by Udupi town police.

A theft case involving gold and diamond jewellery worth Rs 31,17,100 was reported at the Udupi town police station by Prasad S S. According to the complaint, Siddappa K Kodli, who was employed as a home nurse at the residence, allegedly committed the theft on November 17 between 9:15 AM and 1:15 PM. The stolen items, weighing approximately 427 grams, were taken from a glass cabinet in the living room and a locked cupboard in the bedroom.

Date : 19/11/2024 accused Siddappa K. Kodli (23), Kushtagi taluk, Koppal was interrogated when seized, stolen and hidden, gold, silver and diamond ornaments worth approximately Rs: 30,00,000/- weighing 374.45 grams were recovered.

Udupi City Police Station PSI Eranna Shiragumpi, Puneeth, Udupi Sen Police Station P S. Team of I Pawan Kumar, Abdul Basheer, Santhosh, Chetan of Udupi Nagar Police Station and Praveen Kumar, Praveen of Sen Police Station were arrested the accused and the accused has been produced before the Hon’ble Court.
